Sales of Pyridam Farma Tbk and its subsidiaries (PYFA Group) Increase 127% to Rp. 630.5 Billion in 2021

Jakarta, May 6, 2022 – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk. and its subsidiary (PYFA Group) recorded a significant increase in net sales, which increased by 127% to Rp. 630.5 Billion in 2021 compared to Rp. 277.4 billion in 2020. This increase in net sales far exceeded the Company’s target in 2021, namely to increase net sales by at least 50% from the previous year.

The largest contribution portion of PYFA Group’s net sales still came from pharmaceutical products and tolling products as much as 76%. The remaining 24% came from health products. Although the contribution is not much, PYFA Group’s net sales of health products increased significantly by 308% or four times from the previous year.

“In 2021, sales and EBITDA will increase because the Company has made many innovations in terms of products and also increased efficiency in terms of operations. A significant increase also occurred in EBITDA recorded by the Company in 2021, which increased by 85% from 2020. Meanwhile, the ratio of operating expenses to net sales decreased from 48% in 2020 to 35% in 2021 which indicates an increase in efficiency. the Company’s expenses compared to the previous year.
PYFA Group will continue to make new innovations by adding new innovator products and also collaborating with other pharmaceutical companies such as Mundipharma, Daewoong Pharma, Merz to present superior products to advance the healthcare industry in Indonesia.
